I got the BH Blues
Okay, so the weather is no surprise..........it is a Bank Holiday after all, but it should be more fun than this. Little old me is home alone with nothing except H*usew*rk!! Could be worse suppose, hubby is out working in this, out in the open LOL, oopps sorry I shouldn't laugh but at least that makes me feel a little better about the H*usew*rk!!
Yesterday was much more fun, pushing Mum around Telford Shopping Centre in a wheelchair. She's had an op on her foot which means that she's pretty much housebound.....and bored to tears so the promise of a day out got her all excited. Only trouble was she kept persuading me to spend money!! Heaven only knows how she did it, sitting there like Andy from Little Britain
I need to get some scrapping done but my Quickutz Revolution has died on me and I've shipped it off to the States for service, but that leaves me without my trusty little die cutter. Suppose I'll have to resort to cutting out by hand LOL. Seriously it seems like such a long, long time between crops this month, having Moxley and the Retreat so close together, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms. Only 1 more weekend to go whoo hoo.
The highlight of the day though is a very rare invitation to lunch from my darling son. Told him to choose the time and place seeing as he was paying. Panic stricken he said "Nah I'm not" breaking out in a sweat. Oh well, can't have it always can I, the invitation was a major breakthrough LOL.
Better get my glad rags on then. TTFN

Here goes
Okay, so I've done the hard part and set this thing up, but this means that I now have to use it, and no better time than the bank holiday.
It's only been 3 weeks since my weekend in Stratford and I'm already signed up for the next one......can't wait!! Almost 50 craft obsessed women booked into the Swans Nest Hotel, for the first ever Scrapajack Retreat, spending 3 fun filled days being creative, learning new techniques in the classes, taking part in challenges, games and of course making friends!!
You honestly couldn't wish to meet an nicer bunch of girls, Debbie and Jakkii (from Scrapajack), my homies the Moxley Massive, and the Barncrofters. Then add girls from Swindon, Scotland even internationals like Stephanie from the USA and Rachel our very own Kiwi. Put em all together and what have you got................
so much laughter that your sides ached for a week.
Even now, 3 weeks later I'm still on a high.........wonder if Bromsgrove know what they are letting themselves in for.

Just a quickie to introduce my "Auntie Mary", hope you love her as much as I do
